Call for Nominations - Members of ASCE
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to consider the following leadership positions with the Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch of ASCE for the 2008-09 fiscal year. With the exception of President-Elect, each of the following positions require a time commitment starting on October 1, 2008 and ending on September 30, 2009:
- President Elect (3 year commitment - President-Elect, President, and Past President)
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
This call for nominations is open to all members of the Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch including members from MLAB's Younger Members Forum. The desired qualifications for prospective candidates include previous experience as a current or past Officer and/or Committee Chair for MLAB or MLAB YMF. I hope that you will consider this opportunity to serve at the next level.
If you are interested in a position, please submit a letter of interest and a brief statement of indicating your qualifications and goals if elected to Cung Nguyen at cung91007@yahoo.com by the close of business on Friday, May 16, 2008. The Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch's Nomination Committee will review the qualifications and make recommendations of nominees to be included on the official ballot for the general election.
