ASCE in the Media

Media tap ASCE as the authority on infrastructure
Leonard and Herrmann interviewed by NBC, CBS, NPR

Media BlitzWith the state of our nation's infrastructure thrust back into the headlines, the major news media again turned to ASCE as a trusted source of information, interviewing Society leaders and extensively citing our Report Card. Amid the context of President Obama's proposal for a national infrastructure bank with $50 billion to start, plus the massive California gas line eruption, 2010 President Blaine Leonard, P.E., D.GE, F.ASCE, spoke about the challenges on "NBC Nightly News," on NPR's "All Things Considered," and for Bloomberg News Service. Incoming 2011 President-elect Andrew Herrmann, P.E., SECB, F.ASCE, was interviewed for the "CBS Evening News" as well as for NPR Baltimore's "Capitol News Connection."
