About the Event

Join ASCE Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch, ASCE Infrastructure Resilience Division, California Institute of Technology, and University of Southern California for the 7th dinner lecture in honor of Le Val Lund at the Caltech Athenaeum on Friday, May 2, 2025.

Registration will open at 5:30 PM, followed by social time with open bar. This is followed by a plated dinner and the 2025 Le Val Lund Lecture titled:


“Lifeline Earthquake Engineering: A Chronology of Technological Advancements, Institutional Changes, and Events that formed our Perception of Lifeline Resilience”


The 2025 lecture will be given by Ronald T Eguchi, recipient of the 2024 Le Val Lund practice award in recognition for his internationally renowned leadership on risk analyses and risk management studies of lifeline infrastructure for natural hazard risks.
