We are seeking a motivated and experienced California Registered Civil Engineer with 3+ years of land development experience to oversee our growing team.
​
Position Summary:
​
The Responsible Civil Engineer will perform and oversee a wide range of civil engineering tasks related to site development, infrastructure design, and entitlement support. This position requires strong technical capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
​

Review, stamp, and sign all civil engineering plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadway design, and site improvements.

Oversee hydrology/hydraulics calculations, stormwater quality compliance documents, and LID designs.

Produce technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and supporting documentation.

Conduct due diligence, feasibility studies, and entitlement support for residential, commercial, and school projects.

Coordinate with architects, planners, surveyors, environmental consultants, and subconsultants.

Interface with city/county agencies, school districts, and utility providers to support project approvals and permitting.

Provide quality control review and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

Support construction administration, including conducting site visits.

Qualifications:

Additional Requirements to File

Registered Civil Engineer (PE) in the State of California
-
Registered Licensed Surveyor would also be a benefit
-
3 years min. experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard hydrology/hydraulics software
-
Strong understanding of California stormwater regulations, local agency standards, and ADA requirements
-
Experience preparing improvement plans, technical reports, and engineering calculations
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
Desirable Qualifications
-
Experience with school district projects and DSA coordination
-
Familiarity with the Subdivision Map Act and entitlement processes
-
Experience with residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
-
Prior experience mentoring junior staff or leading small technical teams
