Job Description:
The City of Chino is seeking a highly motivated engineer eager to join a top-tier organization to oversee a robust, well-funded Capital Improvement Program. The CIP Engineering Manager is a key leadership position in a Public Works Department. Reporting to the Deputy Director/City Engineer, the CIP Engineering Manager oversees the City’s Capital Improvement Program, including all aspects of engineering, construction, inspection, budgeting, and financing. Reporting to this position is a professional project management staff with varying professional and technical levels of experience. 

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or a related field and certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. Requires 5 years of increasingly responsible, diversified experience, including or supplemented by experience in supervision. Additionally, 5 or more years of experience in a public-sector setting (highly desirable).
